EN Publishing - WOIN Community Publisher Syndicate

Jeffrey Montgomery -

Rules

You can use the What's OLD is NEW RPG system.

You cannot publish content for other rules systems.

You must use the latest published version of the rules (which at present is v1.2).

Settings

You can create setting generic content, or you can publish your own settings. You can also create content for the Cauldron and ZEITGEIST settings, and any WOIN Studios Presents... settings (such as Xenomorphs, Ghostbreakers, or any other settings under that label).

Other settings may be allowed in the future.

Allowable Media

RPG supplements and stock art resources are permitted. Fiction is also permitted. Files suitable for use with virtual table top software are allowed.

Art

No artwork may be used from any official WOIN publications, except those specifically made available here on the WCPS. You may use artwork from the WCPS Stock Art selection, artwork you have the rights to, artwork you have created, and public domain artwork. You must have permission to use any artwork. We will provide large amounts of art which you may use.

You may not use stock art provided by EN Publishing on the WCPS in products distributed outside the WCPS.

Logos and Trade Dress

The WCPS logo is available to appear on the front cover of your work. It needs to be legible when viewed at full size. It does not need to be the primary logo or title on your cover. You may not use any other logos or trade dress from official WOIN publications.

Legal

The following text (must be placed within the Work, wherever the Work otherwise lists legal and copyright information):

What's OLD is NEW, WOIN, EN Publishing, ZEITGEIST, the Cauldron, the WOIN logo, O.L.D., N.O.W., N.E.W., all other EN Publishing product names, and their respective logos are trademarks of EN Publishing in the UK, USA, and other countries. All characters and their distinctive likenesses are property of EN Publishing. This material is protected under the copyright laws of the United Kingdom. Any reproduction or unauthorized use of the material or artwork contained herein is prohibited without the express written permission of EN Publishing.

Other

Neither your Work nor any promotional material, including blog posts or press releases, may contain racist, homophobic, discriminatory, or other repugnant views; overt political agendas or views; depictions or descriptions of criminal violence against children; rape or other acts of criminal perversion; or other obscene material.

Illegal and Infringing content is not allowed. It is the content creator’s responsibility to ensure that their content does not violate laws, or copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

Create, don’t copy. We reserve the right to stop publishing and selling your work if we think it goes against the spirit of the WCPS program. All authors should respectfully use the content originally created by EN Publishing or other WCPS creators. For example, if a WCPS author releases a trilogy of adventures, and another author takes those three adventures, compiles them, and republishes them as a single collection, without substantive original additions or changes, then we would stop publishing and selling that collected work because it adds no value to the WCPS community content. It’s simply one author copying another author’s work and looking to make a royalty on it.
